Chatham Manor Maternity Portraits

This sweet family and I have worked together a few times now, so it was extra special when they told me it was time to photograph their newest addition! I just love photographing pregnancies! There’s something so beautiful about the journey that we, as women, go through to create and build a family. Although it’s not always fun (hello swollen ankles!), it’s an amazing process.

The Lysher family is so laid back, so I was thrilled when they decided they wanted to do their session somewhere in Fredericksburg that we hadn’t shot at before. We decided on Chatham Manor and boy, was it worth it! The gardens, the property in general is just so stunning!! It was the perfect space for the girls to run around while I focused on their mom and dad. And all of the beautiful scenery provided us with numerous options for their session - allowing me to create unique portraits to capture their latest journey.
