A Look Back at 2025: A Year of Love, Growth & Career-Favorite Sessions

As I sit down to reflect on 2025, I can honestly say it was one of the most phenomenal years of my photography career. This year was filled with creativity, connection, growth, and some of my absolute favorite sessions I’ve ever photographed. I’m so grateful for every family, baby, senior, and model who trusted me to capture their memories.

From the very first session of the year to the final clicks of December, 2025 reminded me exactly why I do what I do.

Belly to Baby: Watching Stories Unfold

There is something incredibly special about following families from bump to baby. This year’s Belly to Baby sessionswere full of anticipation, emotion, and so much love. Photographing glowing mamas, then later welcoming their precious newborns into the studio, never gets old. These sessions continue to be some of the most meaningful work I do — watching families grow and preserving the very beginning of their stories.

Cake Smashes Full of Personality & Joy

If 2025 proved anything, it’s that cake smashes will forever have my heart. From classic and timeless setups to playful, personality-filled designs, each cake smash this year was completely unique. There is nothing sweeter than watching a baby explore their cake, make a mess, and show off those big one-year-old smiles. These sessions were bursting with laughter, curiosity, and unforgettable moments.

Stunning Location Sessions

This year also brought some truly amazing location shoots. From golden-hour light to scenic backdrops, 2025 was filled with sessions that felt cinematic, emotional, and timeless. Whether it was families, seniors, or milestone portraits, photographing clients in beautiful outdoor spaces allowed stories to unfold naturally — and resulted in images I’m incredibly proud of.

I absolutely could not reflect on 2025 without highlighting my super talented spokes model team. These models brought energy, creativity, and heart to every shoot. They helped bring my vision to life, pushed me creatively, and played a huge role in shaping this year into something truly special. Watching them grow, shine, and confidently step in front of my lens was such a gift.
