I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to share this gorgeous fall session but I just love the colors and this family so much, I had to get it on the blog! The Spears family was so much fun to work with this fall! They brought their boys for the session - an adorable 2.5 year old and a 9 month old. We focused on family portraits and some cute portraits of the boys. Natalie had some great inspiration she sent me for the session! It was a little bit chilly but this family rocked their portraits. We really did have a cold fall, didn’t we? Anyway! Natalie and her hubby picked some really super cute outfits for everyone and I just love getting the chance to look at them all again!

Seriously! I can’t get over how much I love these fall sessions. And with the weather being so cold out, it makes me feel a little bit warmer inside to be sharing these mini sessions with you! The Whitney family was so much fun to work with! They were all about laughing, playing together, and anything to make the twins smile. We had a great time exploring the little farm I love and finding the perfect spots to capture their portraits. And can we talk about their outfits?! I LOVE the color combinations they picked!!! I always encourage colors and pattens that work together but don’t match perfectly - and they nailed that on the head!
Enjoy their cozy fall session!
This sweet family was so much fun to work with! Although we wound up having to reschedule our session a handful of times between weather and some sickness going on, I’m so glad we finally got to have it! Meeting Laura and her husband, son, and their darling dog was wonderful. You’d never know they have never done family photos before. We had a great time exploring my favorite farm this fall and playing in the nice weather. Enjoy some of my favorite family portraits below from their session!
I will never get tired of sharing all of the beautiful fall sessions I had with you all (hopefully you don’t get tired of them either!). Meet the Ko family! Ellen, her husband Ethan and their sweet baby girl met up with me for their family portraits this fall at my favorite little farm. I had so much fun getting to chat with them and meet Ellen’s parents too. The farm was the perfect location to have their portraits updated and their sweet little girl was so much fun to photograph! She was cuddly, full of smiles, and so adorable!! Ellen and Ethan, thank you for asking me to be a part of your family’s legacy with these portraits. I hope to see you again soon!
One of the greatest joys I find in being a photographer is having clients that come back to work with me year after year. I love watching families and children grow and building lasting relationships with these families. The Ratola family is one of those families!! Whenever I see Christina’s name pop up, I grin because it means I get to work with a group of people I love! And this fall family session, I finally got to meet the whole gang! We had a great time out at my favorite fall location photographing their beautiful family.
The fall is a beautiful time of year for family portraits - and my clients know it too, so I’m always really busy this time of year. But… I don’t mind! Especially when I get to meet amazing new families like the Taylors! We had a great time out at the farm I love for their fall family mini session. I absolutely love the colors Tarese chose for them - plum and navy! How can you go wrong?!
Here’s a few of my favorites from their sweet session!!
Family is so important and I love when people get their whole family together for pictures like this. Sometimes during the holidays we forget about the things that truly matter. It can be stressful and we often get caught up in the hustle and bustle. Believe it or not holidays are a perfect time for family pictures. Think about it, how many times during the year is your entire family ever together? maybe twice if your lucky. Our little ones grow, we change and its so special to document it.
Enjoy some of my favorites from this Family session!
I get asked frequently if i offer family sessions and the answer is yes! Although i do specialize in belly-baby i love doing family portraits as well. Capturing your family as you grow is such an important thing to do. our families grow and change so quickly as little ones get older and new additions join our family. its such a special time to capture it! most people are so shocked to see how much changes in a year when they compare this year to last years family pictures. Plus who doesn't love looking back at old family pictures with your mom, dad and siblings!
Enjoy some of my favorite family sessions from 2017!

Prayers For FINN!!!!
Wow thinking about this blog I had so much running through my mind. Of course when I sit down my brain starts spinning and all I can think of are all the amazing times I've had with Finn and his truly incredible family! Myself meeting Finn and the Blumenthal was nothing short of God's working, two years ago I got a random Facebook message from a fellow photographer that I had met in a photography group asking me if I could take over a session she had booked with this family since she was unable to shoot. I of course said yes, not knowing at all what to expect except that it was a lifestyle/home session and the little boy did have some type of heart complication.
When I pulled up to the home I was immediately greeted by Kelly at the front door! Cheery happy and always smiling Kelly welcomed me into their home and into their family room. Their I met Mason and Micheal where I was caught up to speed on Finns conditions and a little bit more about the family! After watching Kelly finish Finns meds and dressing the family we started our session. I knew instantly that a true friendship was forming in that short of time. It was like I was talking to a friend I had known for years ( tell me that is'nt gods working!). We shot some more personal shots in Finns Nursery with just mama and him and then we transitioned to family shots in the family room and living area! When I left that session it was like my world changed! I walked out of those doors never wanting to take anything for granted and trying my best to live everyday to the fullest, but also with one heck of an awesome friend and support system!
Now I know a lot of you may know that Kelly is the one of the most upbeat and inspiring people you've met, but behind the scenes this woman is super mom! Since meeting Finn and his family 2 years ago things have changed! I've watched Finn go from a feeding tube to crawling (aka baby yoga) to yes walking, eating and talking! Its been such an amazing journey to document him and all his accomplishments! When I say Finns like the son I never had its true! He's always a daily conversation here at the house and if the girls find out the famous (FINN) was here at the studio while they were at school, theres always some broken hearts lol.
We all know Finn is a fighter and we know he's gonna "JUST KEEP SWIMMING" but tomorrow Finn has his first procedure out of two . I would like to ask for your help and pray for this sweet little boy and his family! I can't begin to imagine what this must feel like to have a child endure procedures like this especially at such a young age but in Finns case they are needed and they are needed now! I need my Prayer warriors to pray and pray hard! Please put him and his family on any prayer request and chain you may know of!
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed , for I am you God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand!
This was our first shoot together! The start of a friendship and journey I will be forever grateful for!

Boho/Teepee Cake Smash
This is one style/theme I hope doesn't go out of style for a while! I just love the naked cake paired with natural elements like lace , florals and greenery! I had a blast creating this setup! I made the Teepee with lace and added florals greenery and more florals! You can never have too many flowers right? I tend to usually do more bold and very themed cake smashed but i love these simple girly ones, they are so beautiful! Its like the saying less is more! Now i will warn you.. looking through these images Sweet Joey's smile is contagious lol! But I'm also happy to say that Joey is another returning client! Little Joey came to me for her newborn session and I loved how we kept the colors similar with the soft pinks and girly theme! Enjoy some of my favorites from the session!
